Valves - Preaction and Deluge Valves
We offer a range of pre-action and deluge valves are specialized valves used in fire protection systems to control the flow of water in response to fire events.
Pre-action valves are designed to prevent accidental discharge of water in areas where water damage needs to be minimized, such as data centers or museums. They require two independent events to activate: the detection of a fire and the operation of a sprinkler head. Once both events occur, the valve opens, allowing water to flow into the sprinkler system.
Deluge valves, on the other hand, are used in applications where immediate and simultaneous water discharge is required over a large area, such as in warehouses or aircraft hangars. These valves remain open and allow water to flow into the sprinkler system as soon as a fire detection event occurs.
